Dancers should come to rehearsals on time, prepared to dance. Dancers who miss more than two rehearsals without prior approval will be in danger of being cut from the cast or having a reduced part, at the choreographer’s discretion. Attendance at all run-throughs and tech rehearsals is mandatory. We will be as accommodating as we can regarding missed rehearsals due to illness. Company dancers will attend Company class.
Scheduling conflicts (previously scheduled events) should be included on the audition form. Emergency circumstances will be considered when determining fulfillment of attendance requirements.

What to wear: children should wear comfortable, fitted, workout-style clothing, such as leggings and a fitted t-shirt. If they have any dancewear (leotard, tights, etc.), they are more than welcome to wear that. Ballet slippers are suggested but not required; a pair of clean socks will work just fine.
What to expect: During the audition, we’ll introduce some basic ballet steps along with simple movements like marches and skips. This will help us observe their ability to follow directions, listen to instruction, apply corrections, and demonstrate coordination and musicality.
