Pre-Ballet is an introduction to ballet concepts designed for young imaginative minds and bodies. Students are given the opportunity to move, stretch, and improve self-confidence as well as develop self-expression through creative movement. Emphasis is placed on taking turns, listening to instructions, and spatial awareness. Class meets 1 time per week for 30 minutes.

Intro to Ballet focuses on the fundamentals of ballet technique. The class emphasizes proper placement, vocabulary, etiquette, and includes stretching and ballet-based improvisation. Emphasis is placed on taking turns, listening to instructions, and spatial awareness. Class meets 1 time per week for 30 minutes.

Ballet 1 introduces a traditional ballet class structure to students while they learn fundamental ballet technique through barre work, center exercises, and across the floor combinations designed to improve coordination, flexibility, endurance, and musicality. Class meets 1 time per week for 60 minutes.

Ballet 2 focuses on a traditional ballet class structure with a more rigorous syllabus. Students learn fundamental ballet technique through barre work, center exercises, and across the floor combinations designed to improve coordination, flexibility, endurance, and musicality. Class meets 2 times per week for 60 minutes per class.

Ballet 3 focuses on basic barre work, center exercises, and across the floor combinations. Students learn technique and placement, while emphasizing musicality. Class meets 2 times per week for 75 minutes per class.

Ballet 4 focuses on intermediate barre work, center exercises, and across the floor combinations. Students learn technique and placement, while emphasizing musicality. Combinations to strengthen the legs, feet, and ankles are introduced to start preparing students for future pointe work. Class meets 2 times per week for 1 hour 15 minutes per class.

Pointe Basics is designed for students ages 11 and up who have had at least 2-3 consecutive years of ballet training. Pointe class can be taken on flat or in pointe shoes at the instructor’s discretion. Students will utilize previously learned ballet technique while working in pointe shoes. Each class includes barre exercises, center floor work and across the floor combinations. These exercises focus on strengthening the feet and ankles.
Students must have instructor approval for this class. Students must be enrolled in at least 2 ballet classes in addition to Pointe class. -
Ballet 5 focuses on intermediate/advanced barre work, center exercises, and across the floor combinations. Students learn advanced technique, while emphasizing musicality, discipline, and professionalism. Combinations to strengthen the legs, feet, and ankles are used regularly to help students prepare for, or work on their pointe work. Students at this level are encouraged to take at least 3 ballet classes a week for optimal growth.

Ballet 6 focus on advanced barre work, center exercises, across the floor combinations, pointe work, and ballet variations. Students learn advanced technique, while emphasizing musicality, discipline, and professionalism. We highly recommend students at this level take ballet class at least three times a week for optimal growth.

Learn the art of Pas De Deux with Lucas and Ashley Ramsour! This class is only available by audition. Ages 12-Adult. Please contact the studio to inquire about how to audition.
Ladies are required to be taking at least one other ballet class with RCB and gentlemen are required to be enrolled in RCB’s Men’s Ballet class.

Catered towards the adult who has never done ballet before or danced as a child, this class focuses on basic barre work, center exercises, and across the floor combinations. Students will learn technique, terminology, placement and musicality. While dance attire is encouraged, form fitting athletic wear and ballet shoes are all that's required. Catered towards the adult who has taken some dance and is familiar with ballet terminology, this class focuses on basic barre work, center exercises, and across the floor combinations. Students will learn technique, terminology, placement and musicality. While dance attire is encouraged, form fitting athletic wear and ballet shoes are all that's required. This class focuses on exercises designed for the male dancer. Class includes basic barre work, center exercises, strengthening exercises, and across the floor combinations. Students will learn technique, placement, musicality and specific male technique.

This class will teach intermediate and advanced techniques of Contemporary ballet. Contemporary ballet is a form of dance influenced by classical ballet and modern dance. It takes its techniques and occasional use of pointe work from classical ballet, although it permits a greater range of movement than classical ballet. This class will focus on spacial and body awareness, use of floor work, technique, and Musicality

Jazz dance is a dynamic and expressive form of dance that has evolved over the years, drawing influences from various styles and cultures. Grace and fluidity of movement are prioritized, in addition to proper body alignment, center of balance, and beginning turns, jumps, and floor work.

Jazz combines elements of ballet and modern dance with current dance forms, emphasizing rhythm, isolations, and expressive movement. Students are asked explore the emotional aspects of the music and choreography to achieve a desired performance quality. Available to purchase as a drop-in class.

This class is a strengthening and lengthening form of exercise focusing on core muscles while also training your arms and legs. This class will focus on strength, posture, proper breath, control, and flexibility, all vital elements to a dancer's technique. Available to purchase as a drop-in class.
This class is highly recommended for all of our dancers Ballet Level 2 and up. -
