Join us for an elegant high tea experience in partnership with Time for Tea. Guests will enjoy finger sandwiches, scones, and freshly brewed tea.

As you sip and savor, the beloved story of The Nutcracker will be brought to life. Listen as the tale is told and watch our dancers perform magical scenes from the ballet right before your eyes.

Following the first act, a second round of tea will be served with a decadent dessert, leading into the enchanting second act, The Land of Sweets. Tea will be crowned by a special appearance from none other than the Sugar Plum Fairy herself.

To make the day even more memorable, attendees will also have the opportunity to take photos with their favorite Nutcracker characters at the end of the event.

All proceeds from the Sugar Plum Tea benefit Redding City Ballet’s Chance 2 Dance scholarship program, helping make ballet accessible to local students in 3rd–5th grade.

All Chance 2 Dance provides scholarship support for a full year of ballet training, dancewear, and the opportunity to perform in Redding City Ballet productions, including The Nutcracker and our Spring Performance.
